03.19.04 - Do I ever cross your mind, anytime? Do you ever wake up reaching out for me...

I'm taking a break from studying to update my blog, because I wouldn't want all...5 of you readers to be w/out your valuable entertainment for one night. No, that would be the greatest travesty in the world.

In any case, I'm feeling kind of crappy right now, and I don't know why; and really, I don't know why. Most of the time, I say I don't know why, but this time, it's definite. It probably has something to do with feeling so extremely exhausted, and yet still having to go through with this whole exam thing, because it's obviously important to my education.

I just ate a lot of dinner, and now I'm feeling particularly chubby. I need to do some serious exercise, but I can never find time, with the juggling of 2 jobs and school - mid terms at school, I should add.

Agh...sharp pain in rib all of sudden!...

Alright, just to enlighten y'all, I've conjured up a semi-funny, at least amusing, story that dates back to 1993...or some time around then.

Every summer, or most summers, my family and my cousins' family go to Florida together for a vacation. In our condo, there were bunk beds that us kids would always fight to sleep on. Generally, the "honour" went to my cousins, Steve and Keith. I had to sleep...damn, I don't even remember where I slept.... Anyway, I always thought it was the coolest thing to go up onto the top because it was only about 10 inches from the ceiling. However, unlike a traditional bunk bed, there was no ladder, and I therefore had to be helped up and down by my cousins since I was only about 4 and half feet tall.

One day, I was reading on the top bunk when something happened (I don't remember exactly what it was) and I started to slide off; I desperatedly grabbed onto the blankets whilst my feet were slowly being dragged down by gravity. I yelled out to my cousin, who was reading an Archie comic on the bottom bunk, "Steve!! Steve...!!! Help!!! Steeeeeve....." and I remember him distinctly replying with, "Uh huh...hold on..."

Finally, there was no more blanket to hold on to and when I let go, some kind of force threw me up against the adjacent wall, causing a large and loud thump that resounded throughout the entire condo.

Oh, so many pleasant memories...
